LEWISTON – Emilien J. Cailler, 79, of 6 Revere St., Lewiston, passed away at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center on Monday, May 2.

Born in Lewiston, he was the son of Emile and Yvonne LaFlamme Cailler. He was educated in local schools and entered into the U.S. Navy as a fireman first class during World War II.

He was a member of Holy Family Parish. He was active in baseball, football and hockey as a young man. He enjoyed watching the Bruins and Maineiacs hockey games. He loved baseball and was a lifelong Red Sox fan. He was an avid bowler for many years in the Holy Family Bowling League, and recently in a senior citizens bowling league and travel team.

He dedicated time to his family, and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Francoise Belanger Cailler, of Lewiston; two sons, Paul and wife, Joline Cailler, of South Portland and Don and wife, Linda Cailler, of Gardiner; one daughter, Denise and husband, Maurice Fournier, of Lewiston; two sisters, Muriel Bonin of Lewiston, and Rita and husband, Leo Roy, of Lewiston; and five grandchildren, Nicole, Gretchen, Sarah and Daniel Cailler, and Emily Fournier.

He was predeceased by his parents.
