HEBRON – Sarah Irish pitched three innings of no-hit ball Wednesday to help Hebron roll to a 8-3 victory over North Yarmouth Academy in local softball action. Tiffany Bichrest led Hebron’s (7-2)batting effort with a double.

Olivia O’Reilly led NYA (6-3) with a home run. Hebron put the game out of reach in the second inning, putting six runs on the board.

Hebron 15, Gould 0

HEBRON – Brandon Rolfe had one hit, three RBIs and one run scored Wednesday as Hebron cruised past Gould Academy 15-0 in more local baseball action. Michael Turk and Ryan Sheehan chipped in for Hebron (3-0) with two hits apiece, while Greg Gumbs added one hit and one RBI. Turk scattered two hits in seven inings of work to earn the win.

Thatcher Stone handled pitching duties for Gould (1-4), allowing four earned runs in six innings to take the loss.
