Two area golfers notched a hole-in-one in recent play. Michael D. Pelletier of Sabattus, scored the first ace of the season at The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield on May 12, on the par 3, #5 hole, 190-yards. Playing partner was Michael R. Pelletier.

Donald Oakes of Wilton, recorded a hole-in-one during a recent golfing outing on the Grand Strand at Myrtle Beach, S.C. He aced the #15 hole, 110-yards, at Indigo Creek using a 9-iron. The feat was witnessed by Betty Lewis and Percy Doucette.
