LEWISTON – Gloria J. Farrington, 64, a resident of Warren Road, Monmouth, died Thursday, June 2, at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, where she had been a resident since Feb. 18.

She was born June 12, 1940, in Augusta, the daughter of Paul and Edith (Perley) Dayken. She was a 1958 graduate of Monmouth Academy.

She worked for Bickford’s Woodworking of Monmouth for 30 years as a home assembler.

She enjoyed knitting, oil painting, her house plants, the ocean and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, June Pinkham-Hastings of Kingston, N.H., Nancy C. Farrington and her fianc, Larry Asselin, of Livermore, Rosealie Farrington and her fianc, Bruce Weymouth, of Monmouth, and Lisa Stevens and her husband, Michael, of Monmouth; and seven grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Harland W. “Jake” Dayken.
