LEWISTON – Gipper’s/White Rock outlasted Le National Club 12-10 in the National Division Tuesday. Randy Dubay, Bob Haskell, Mike Harris, Jesse Robitaille and Jeff Danse all had multiple hits. The winners appeared a bit tired after finishing second during the weekend in the Beast Of The East U.S.S.S.A. Class C Tournament in New Hampshire.

Girls’ tourneys planned

The Maine ASA softball organization is offering state championships for girls softball teams in the following age groups: 10-under, 12-under, 14-under, 16-under, 18-under. Tournaments will be held in several locations on the weekend of June 24-26. There is an entry fee for each tourney.
