LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, at a recent membership meeting, presented a special program on Patriots Day. Several members were dressed in military uniforms for the occasion.

Joseph Paradis, service officer, read a poem specially for Patriots Day. Donald T. Dube, sergeant-at-arms, led the members present, with Bert Mathieu on the harmonica, in singing Revolutionary War and Civil War songs.

Dressed for the occasion were Richard Giem, commander, in a Civil War uniform, and Jerry DerBoghosian, adjutant, in a Revolutionary War Army uniform.

Refreshments were served and “God Bless American” by the assembly closed the program.
