AUBURN – Central Maine Community College Corporate and Community Services will offer its Project Management Certificate Program (CCS 021-01) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 14 and 21.

The two-day workshop will teach technical and non-technical professionals how to plan, organize and complete projects. Participants will learn how to use a variety of project management methods and tools, including problem-solving, work breakdown structure, estimating and forecasting, project scheduling, Gantt charting and contingency planning.

“The Project Management Certificate Program will offer participants the tools and techniques to master the project management skills necessary to perform at their very best,” said Diane Dostie, dean of corporate and community services. “The project management training will help participants complete their projects on time and on budget.”

The program will be facilitated by Jim Milliken, who holds a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute and has more than 15 years of training experience in the areas of project management, supervision, teambuilding and communication.

The cost of the two-day certificate program is $260.
