LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met Sept. 19 at Murray Hall with 149 members present. Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting, and a moment of silence was held for departed members and men and women in the Armed Forces. Mary Groleau led the group as they sang “Amazing Grace.”
Welcomed back were Mary Groleau, Annette and Zeke Richards, Noella Mercier, Joan Lauzier and Lorraine Ellingwood.
Amy MacMillian, SeniorsPlus Medicare Part B specialist, gave a talk concerning the new prescription drug benefit program. Several guests were present to learn about the new plan.
