LEWISTON – The wedding of Jaimie A. Jacques and Kirk A. Maheux was held at 2 p.m. on July 2 at the Bates College Chapel. Carmella R. Murphy, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Maheux is the daughter of Rolande Jacques of Lewiston and Normand Jacques of Apache Junction, Ariz. Mr. Maheux is the son of Gloria Michaud of Van Buren and Arthur Maheux of Lewiston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-white gown with spaghetti straps and a small train. She carried a bouquet of pink and white roses with baby’s breath.

Shannon Ouellette was maid of honor for her best friend and bridesmaids were Brenda Charette, friend, and Deeann Jacques, sister. Bianca and Chantel Soucy, daughters of the bride, were flower girls.

Serving as best man for his best friend was Nelson Pray, and ushers were Geoff Rodrigue, friend, and Keith Pray, best friend.

A reception followed at C&J Hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Old Orchard Beach.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Lewiston High School and has been employed at Bates College for five and a half years.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Lewiston High School and has been employed at Bates College for 17 years.
