AUBURN – Blanche L. Guenther, 86, formerly of 19 Interurban Road, Auburn, died Thursday, Nov. 3, at Sarah Frye Nursing Home in Auburn.
She was born in Fitchburg, Mass., on Nov. 24, 1918, the daughter of Clifford and Anna Legros Bergeron. She graduated from Lewiston High School and furthered her education by attending college for three years.
She worked several years for the Selective Service System. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church while the Rev. Herve Carrier served as its pastor.
She is survived by one son, Gerald A. Guenther and his companion, Julie Boucher, of Auburn; and one sister, Lucy Dube of Mount Dora, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert, who died in 1992; and a sister, Bella.
