Winter is coming right around the corner. Soon there will be snow on the ground, the soccer fields will be blanketed in a bed of snow, and the baseball fields covered in fluffy whiteness. But wait, with no soccer fields or baseball fields, what is there to do?

There are many things to play in the winter. Make a snowman, go sledding, and maybe snow tubing. Just because the ground has a layer of snow on it doesn’t mean there is nothing to do.

“Many times I’ve noticed laziness in the winter,” says a parent of an eighth grader.

“I hate winter, it’s cold and there is nothing to do,” says the child for an in response.

Many times, kids believes winter is a time to be lazy. They feel no need to do anything but sit around and watch TV. Truth is, there’s lots of things to do in the winter. Learn to snowboard, ski, figure skat, normal ice-skat, there are lots of things to choose from.

What if someone is more of an indoor person? There, is basketball, or hockey. Maybe there is an indoor soccer clinic nearby. So this winter, don’t be caught up indoors from a blizzard of boredom!

Remember, winter + sports = fun!
