HEBRON – The wedding of Cassie Rae Bowie and Matthew Robert Chapman was held at 1 p.m. on July 23 in Hebron.

Mrs. Chapman is the daughter of Addison and Bonnie Bowie of Auburn. Mr. Chapman is the son of Rachel and Andre Pratt of Auburn and Keith and Ann Chapman of South Portland.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown with spaghetti straps, with sequins and pearls on the bodice. The skirt consisted of layers of tulle with beaded lace detail and a long train. She wore a rhinestone necklace and a tiara adorned with rhinestones, pearls and a long attached veil. She carried a cascade of lilies, yellow, pink and white roses and miniature Calla lilies. The rhinestone necklace was a gift from her grandmother.

Sheena Lashua served as honor attendant for her friend. Bridesmaids were Andrea Thompson and Bya Bowie, cousins. Flower girls were Halina Chapman and Lynzie Bowie, a cousin.

Jeremy Taylor was best man for his friend, and ushers were Nate and Jasin Chapman, brothers of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Silver Spur, after which the couple traveled on the Royal Caribbean to the Bahamas.

The bride received an associate degree in early childhood education from Central Maine Community College. She is employed at Moose Alley Daycare Campus in Poland.

The bridegroom is a specialist in the U.S. Army.
