NORWAY – Frances J. Nardi, 91, of Norway died Sunday, Jan. 15, at her home.

She was born in Norwalk, Conn., June 16, 1914, the daughter of James and Rose Aquino Marsico. She graduated from Norwalk High School in the Class of 1933, and cosmetology school in New Haven. She worked as a hairdresser in Connecticut for many years before moving to Maine in 1992. She was a communicant and member of the Ladies Sodality of St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Norway and a member of the Sisters of Faith. On Oct. 25, 1946, she married Gerard J. Nardi. He died Jan. 10, 1998.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Gerard and Shirley Nardi, of Norway; a daughter and her husband, Mary and Thomas Russell, of Mt. Prospect, Ill.; and three granddaughters, Lisa and Sarah Nardi and Andrea Russell.
