YARMOUTH – Eunice W. Pitts, 91, of Yarmouth died Tuesday, January 17 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Mechanic Falls on Nov. 21, 1914, the daughter of Rev. Adrian Wolcott and Fleeta Keene Wolcott. She was a graduate of Mechanic Falls High School in 1933. She married William Pitts in Mechanic Falls on Oct. 17, 1942.
She worked as a receptionist at the Waterfalls Paper Mill in Mechanic Falls. She later moved to Freeport where she worked at L.L. Bean as an office clerk for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and crafts.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Dunn of Gettysburg, Pa., Sharon Horne of Yarmouth and Betty Ritsch of Grants Pass, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
