BETHEL – Olin Gerry Morgan, 84, of Bethel, died Jan. 16.

He was born in Bethel on Nov. 28, 1921, the son of Gerry and Lillian (Burgess) Morgan and was educated in Bethel schools. He had served his country in the Army during World War II, was a member of the American Legion and had worked at Bethel Furniture Stock for over 35 years as a sawyer.

He loved Red Sox baseball, walking, skating and especially loved time spent with his family and family gatherings. One of his favorite things was going to McDonalds.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Florence (Nowlin) Morgan, of Bethel; three sons, Robert, of Gorham, N.H., Raymond, of Charlotte, N.C. and Jeffrey, of Glendale, Calif.; six daughters, Shirley Dinardo, of Hampden, Sandy Stiles, of Shelburne, N.H., Susan Malia and Debbie DeGreenia, both of Gorham, N.H. and Terry Petillo and Kim Harrington, both of Bethel; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
