DOVER-FOXCROFT – Mary “Mare” J. (Stone) Raymond, 59, beloved wife of Camille Raymond, passed from this world peacefully on Jan. 19.
She was born Jan. 24, 1946, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Albert E. and Marguerite L. (Cobb) Stone. She was a 1965 graduate of Foxcroft Academy and had worked at Mayo Regional Hospital since 1986. She will be missed by her many friends and co-workers.
She was a founding member of the Guilford Historical Society and an active member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She loved to make cakes and crocheted afghans for family and friends. She accepted everyone for who they were and always had time to listen. She will be remembered by everyone whose lives she touched and sadly missed by her loving family
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Camille, of Dover-Foxcroft; her children, son, Jody Raymond and wife, Aimee, of Orrington and their children, Maxwell and Marguerite; daughter, Amy and husband, Randy Carsten, of Farmington and their son, Zachary; son, Alan Raymond and wife, Margo, of East Waterboro and their children, Karina, Rachel and Felicia; son, Chad Raymond, of Dover-Foxcroft; daughter, Wendy Raymond, of Lewiston; daughter, Carol Raymond, of Dexter; a brother, Michael Stone and wife, Debbie, of Hollis; a half-brother, Raymond Stone, of Colorado; a half-sister, Jean Whalen, of Dexter; and an aunt, Ethel Wilbur and husband, Ed, of East Dover.
