AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens have announced the 2006 trip schedule as follows:

Feb. 17, Foxwoods Casino, $32; March 27 and 28, overnight Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods, $147; April 13, maple sugar house, Lac Megantic, Quebec, Canada, $33; May 13, Mohegan Sun Casino, $32; May 29 to June 1, Atlantic City Bally Hotel, $258 a person; July 18, train ride with turkey dinner at Lake Winnipesaukee Railroad, $55; Aug. 15, Cabbage Island clambake and boat ride, $77; Oct. 3, Fryeburg Fair Seniors Day, $20.

Auburn Senior Citizens beef stew dinner will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, at a cost of $4 for members only. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 8. It will be held at the St. Louis Church Basement Hall on Dunn Street.

The regular meeting was held Feb. 1 with Virginia Levasseur, president, presiding. February birthdays were noted and token gifts given. Valentine king and queen were selected and given gifts. They were Edward Laverdiere and Doris Biron.

New members welcomed were Juliette Bannister, Fern Ouellette, Georgette Lavoie, John Fitzgerald, Claudette Therrialt, Fern Potvin, Yvette Potvin and Germaine Marquis.

Pot of gold winners were Terry Auger, Edward Laverdiere, Larry Blouin and Connie Desjardins.

A light lunch was served with bingo following. Open bingo for seniors 60 and over will be held Wednesdays, Feb. 8 and 22.
