Library fundraiser

RUMFORD – The Mexico Public Library is beginning a fundraising effort at Four Corners Bottle Redemption Center, 220 Waldo St. When taking in cans to redeem, tell them the redemption money should go to the library.

Michaud’s hours

RUMFORD – In an effort to assist constituents throughout the 2nd District, Congressman Michael Michaud has announced community office hours for the Rumford region. Ride-in canceled

RUMFORD – Black Mountain of Maine has announced the Saturday, Feb. 18, Snowmobile Ride-in with Poker Run has been canceled due to lack of snow.

The special in the kitchen, baby back ribs, potato, salad, roll and dessert, will still be served from 6 p.m. to sell out. Blues at Black from 6 p.m. to closing on Friday, Feb. 24, will feature Paul Lowell.
