During Catholic Schools week at Holy Cross, we held a food drive to help out the Good Shepherd Food Bank. We asked that each family bring in different non-perishable foods each day of Catholic Schools week.
On Monday, we had to bring in a can of soup or beef stew. Tuesday,a box of macaroni and cheese. Wednesday, a box of spaghetti & sauce. Thursday, canned meat, tuna or peanut butter and jelly, and Friday, vegetables, beans, instant potatoes, or rice.
Every month, Good Shepherd Food Bank helps feed 70,000 people in this state, and the winter months bring greater needs. We were happy to help out the food bank and thank all the families for their contributions.
