On Tues., Jan. 31, Holy Cross School was celebrating their second day of Catholic Schools Week, or A.K.A Red, White and Blue day and parents lunch day. This day is the time for students to show how patriotic they can be. There are no limitations as long as you follow these two rules: one, all clothes must be appropriate, and second it has to be RED, WHITE and BLUE! Everything you wear must represent those three colors. Now some kids would think to themselves, “I’m not going to be a walking American flag,” but these kids at Holy Cross School would not miss one bit of the action. That day some dressed wacky, while others dressed casual, while some went for the whole preppy look. But all of them loved to be seen in their awesome get-ups.

What better way to have a good time than to spend the best part of school with your parents; lunch time! Many of the students’ parents arrived at the school to have a nice sit down with their children, and see what their children do in an ordinary school day. Many of the kids’ parents would bring in something special, such as a burger from Burger King, or a pizza from Sam’s, but all of them just liked having their parents there with them. And so ends a day of fun.
