NORWAY – Lucienne S. (LeBlond) Bakke, 92, of Oxford, died Friday, March 3, at the Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Lewiston on April 6, 1913, the daughter of Anthony and Susanne Miller Brazas. She was a 1932 graduate of Edward Little High School.

She married Maurice LeBlond in 1937.

They owned and ran Le- Blond’s Lunch and Dairy Bar in Oxford from 1950 to 1965. He predeceased her in 1960.

In 1967, Lucienne remarried Elmer Bakke of Portland. They enjoyed many years together, traveling around the world. Mr. Bakke passed away in 1987.

Lucienne was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Oxford and the Oxford Historical Society.

She is survived by three sons, Richard and wife, Sharon, of Bronson, Fla., M. Daniel of St. Cloud, Fla., David and wife, Carol, of Otisfield; two stepdaughters, Eleanor Parker of Texas, and Judy Caldwell of Portland; stepson, Richard Bakke of Portland; five grandchildren, Kelly LeBlond, Troy LeBlond, Marc LeBlond, Victoria Campbell, and Jack Daniel; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Walter Brazas of Connecticut; and several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
