JAY – School Committee members have accepted the superintendent’s recommendations to extend several administrators’ agreements by one year.

The board approved extending Jay High School Principal John Robinson’s contract to 2008, Superintendent Robert Wall said Friday.

Special Services Director Tina Collins, Middle School Principal Scott Albert and Elementary School Principal Beverly Gillespie all had their contracts extended to 2009, he said.

Jay High School Assistant Principal Kenric Charles, who has a contract until June 30, 2008, wasn’t part of Wall’s recommendations.

School Committee members also agreed to let high school French students use $2,000 from the academic reserve account toward their trip to Quebec in May.
