GOP CANDIDATE: Republicans from Livermore Falls and Livermore met Tuesday to ask questions of David Emery, right, a Republican seeking the party’s nomination to run for governor this year. During the meeting, L. Gary Knight announced that he’s running for the District 81 seat in the Maine House of Representatives, which covers Leeds and the Livermores. The GOP group also has heard presentations by the two other GOP primary candidates, state Sen. Peter Mills and Chandler Woodcock.
