Horseshoe Club
RUMFORD – The Rumford and Mexico Horseshoe Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, May 1, at the Pit Shack. All members are asked to try to attend.
Class invited
MEXICO – Members of the Mexico High School Class of 1959 are invited to meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, at River Valley Grill in Rumford.
Trailblazers
MEXICO – The Mexico Trailblazers will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, May 3 and 17, downstairs at the Mexico Town Hall. For more information, call Nick Brown at 364-8665 or Gary Wentzell at 364-8110.
Boosters dance
RUMFORD – The Mountain Valley Boosters will host the third annual Blue and Silver Dance on Saturday, May 13, at the Eagles, 13 Oxford Ave. The doors will open at 7 p.m. with the dance starting at 8. Free finger food will be available. Admission is $12 a person or $20 a couple.
Tickets are on sale at Port to Port, Franklin Savings Bank, Kaynor and Kreckel and All That Jazz and will be available at the door.
The Hooligans will perform for the dance. There will be many items featured in a silent auction, and a brief live auction for jewelry pieces will be held during the intermission. All proceeds will benefit the student athletes of Mountain Valley High School.
ATV meeting
MEXICO – River Valley Riders ATV Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, upstairs at the Mexico Chicken Coop.
