FARMINGTON – Thirty-four campers ages 7-15 from around Franklin County participated in this year’s Farmington Children’s Summer Theater.

Working three hours a day for two weeks, the campers have learned about theater, acting, improvisation and relationships, director Dan Ryder said. They’ve also learned their lines and will show off their skills Friday and Saturday with a public performance.

The tales of “Ring of Truth” and “Wisdom for Sale” as well as a play written by the campers will be included in this year’s performance. While the characters and their stories are humorous, they will also show that wisdom and truth can be found even when you’re not looking.

Farmington Children’s Summer Theater, sponsored and organized by the SAD 9/Mt. Blue Music Boosters, is in its 13th season. The play begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and children.
