Cut for Ryan

AUBURN – Madison Avenue Hair Salon, 168 Main St., will reduce prices on all haircuts to benefit “A Cut for Ryan” on Saturday, Aug. 19.

One hundred percent of the cost and of the tips received will be going to Ryan Coy, a 24-year-old Auburn resident. Coy was driving his car when a deer ran into the road, causing him to swerve. Although he didn’t hit the deer, the car went off the road and Coy received severe spinal cord injuries.

He spent several days in the Intensive Care Unit, then flown to Georgia to see a spinal cord specialist. He is still unable to walk and needs a $6,000 piece of equipment for his physical therapy.

For more information, call the salon at 782-5920.
