FARMINGTON – Today is the last day to register for the Farmington soccer program.

The Instructional Soccer League, directed by Larissa O’Connor, is open to girls and boys in grades one through six. During the practices and matches, held every Sunday starting Sept. 10, kids will learn the fundamentals of the game, refine their skills and improve their fitness levels.

Registration costs $20 a Farmington player and $25 for players from out of town.

The Farmington Prep Soccer program, run by Vanessa “Vinnie” Clark, is open to kindergartners age 5 and 6. The program is a non-competitive, stress-free way to introduce kids to the game.

The six-week program will focus on teaching soccer skills, and there will be no roster assignments, game schedules or trophies. The group will meet every Sunday at 12:30 p.m. for practice.

Program fees for the prep program are the same as for the instructional league.

All practices and games for both leagues will take place at Hippach Field. For more information, call Steve Shible or Joe Nelson at 778.3464
