Culvert work closing road

LIVERMORE FALLS – Souther Road will be closed to through traffic for about 48 hours beginning at 7:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 18, and running through Tuesday, Sept. 19.

The town’s highway crew plans to replace a culvert 500 feet from the intersection of Moose Hill Road, highway foreman, Denis Castonguay said.

People with homes on the road should use the entrance off Route 17, he said. There is only one home that could be accessed from the entrance off Moose Hill Road, he said.
