AUBURN – The New Auburn Senior Citizens will hold a harvest dinner with all the fixings at noon Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the St. Louis Church basement hall, Third Street. Tickets are $3 for members only. Members need to buy their tickets no later than Wednesday, Oct. 11.

The regular meeting was held Oct. 4 with Fern Bussiere vice president, presiding. October birthdays were noted and token gifts given. A moment of silence was held for Arthur Beauchesne, a dedicated worker who died in September. New members welcomed were Sylvia Tardiff, Rachael Cyr and Joyce Salk.

There are corrections for the bulletin. The Christmas party will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, instead of Dec. 6. There will be an 11 a.m. social hour and noon dinner at Martindale Country Club. The regular meeting will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6. Tickets are $10 for members only and 2006 dues must be paid. Tickets are to be purchased at the November meeting only.

A few seats, open to anyone, are available for the Bangor Slots trip for $20 and a Christmas show at Indian Head in New Hampshire for $56. Call Jean for more information at 784-5264.

Pot of gold winners were Robert Cloutier, Kenneth Grover, Pat Larose and Ralph Asselin. The meeting adjourned, pizza was served and bingo followed. Open bingo for seniors 60 and over will be held Wednesdays, Oct. 11 and 25.
