FARMINGTON – Preston, a Rhodesian ridgeback hound mix, is at the Franklin County Animal Shelter just waiting for a home.

He is young and athletic. He seems to be housebroken and knows some basic commands, but as with any dog at the shelter, staff said they can’t make any promises about what he’ll do in a new household.

Preston loves to run, and he’ll try to slip away to play tag for hours on end. A home with a fenced-in yard would be perfect for him.

Preston needs a high energy household where he can get plenty of walks.

New dogs at the shelter include a male Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix from Wilton; male rotti mix from Jay and male beagle mix from Phillips.
