Advent message
FARMINGTON – “The Lord is Near” is the title of Pastor Susan Crane’s advent message for Sunday, Dec. 17. Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. All are welcome.
Soup and sing
SALEM – Members of the Salem United Methodist Community Church will host a Christmas “Soup and Sing” event from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at the church, Route 142, Salem Village. There will be Christmas carols, soups and chowders, rolls and desserts. There is no cost for the meal, but donations will be accepted to benefit the church building fund. The public is invited.
