RANGELEY – Rangeley’s Angela White and Hayley White combined to outscore Richmond by themselves in the Lakers’ 44-24 rout of the Bobcats in East-West Conference girls’ basketball Wednesday night.

Angela White led the Lakers (5-2) with 14 points, while Hayley White contributed 11. Ali Godaire made five steals to spark the Rangeley defense, which limited Richmond (5-3) to two points in the opening quarter and eight in the first half.Steph O’Brien scored a team-high eight points for the Bobcats, who entered the game at No. 2 in Western Class D Heal points. Rangeley is ranked fourth.

Hebron 30, Gould 23

HEBRON – Gould stayed even with Hebron through three quarters, but the unbeaten Lumberjacks pulled away to a 30-23 Class D girls’ basketball win.

Hebron held a modest 10-6 lead at halftime before Gould made it 15-15 headed unto the final stanza.

Sara Powers led Hebron (5-0) with 10 points. Kainani Stevens added six. Seana Siekman headlined the Huskies (3-2) with six points.
