Ste. Croix makes donation

LEWISTON – Ste. Croix Regional Federal Credit Union has joined in the support of cultural activities in the community by making a donation to the Public Theatre’s Capital Campaign.

The Public Theatre was founded to bring professional theater to the people of central Maine at an affordable price. Even with regularly sold-out performances, ticket sales account for only 40 percent of their annual budget. As a not-for-profit organization, they rely on the generosity of audience members to bring theater to the people.

Each season the Public Theatre produces six to eight productions, playing to an audience of more than 17,000.

Ste. Croix Regional Federal Credit Union, 1000 Lisbon St., has served the financial needs of its members for 56 years. The credit union is open to all who live or work in Androscoggin County.
