RUMFORD – Rumford Senior Citizens have several activities planned starting with a pasta dinner at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Senior Center. The meal cost is $4. A speaker on hip and knee replacement will present a program along with other entertainment. Those attending are asked to sign up early.

The group is also sponsoring a trip to Bangor Slots on Jan. 31. The bus will leave at 8 a.m. from 50 Congress St. and the cost for the trip is $20. Anyone interested is asked to go to the center to reserve a seat prior to the date.

Another trip is planned for Feb. 1 when the group will attend the public theater in Lewiston. The bus will leave at 4 p.m. from 50 Congress St. to see the show, “The Old Settlers.” The trip is $30, with dinner available at the Village Inn separately

A St. Patrick’s celebration is planned for March 7 at Beacon Resort in New Hampshire. The bus will leave at 9 a.m. from 50 Congress St. The cost is $43.

Another March trip is planned when a bus will take those interested to the Stars on Ice March 24 in Portland. The bus will leave at 2:30 p.m. and the cost is $45.

On April 11, a sugar trip to Indian Head Resort in New Hampshire is planned. The cost is $5. For more information on any of the trips, call 364-4700.
