Grange supper

POLAND – Members of Androscoggin Pomona Grange will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Excelsior Grange for a 6:30 supper. The meeting, which will start at 7:30, will have Legislator Gary Knight from District 81 as a speaker. The program is being arranged by the grange Legislative Committee. An attendance drawing and a 50/50 raffle will also be held. All members and guests are welcome.

Grange program

AUBURN – Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet at the hall at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8. The program will be presented by Judy Holbrook, chairwoman of the Agriculture Committee. Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting. All members and guests are welcome.

UCT to meet

MECHANIC FALLS – Twin City Council, United Commercial Travelers of America and Canada, will meet on Saturday, Feb. 10, at Roscoe’s Rocking Railroad Buffet for dinner at 5 p.m. All members and guests are welcome.

Seniors to meet

AUBURN – The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at Hasty Community Center. Members should bring a bag lunch. Tickets will be on sale for the Valentine lunch for $4 and for a trip to Indian Head Resort on Monday, March 12, for $56. Bingo will be played after lunch.

The club met Jan. 17. Attendance winners were Amy Huston and Ralph Lashua; pot of gold, Aileen Marcoux and Felix Yurkston. New members are Galen Sibley and Patricia Calloway. After a spaghetti lunch, bingo was played.
