LEWISTON – Members of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will meet at noon Thursday, Feb. 8, to hear a presentation by Kurk Lalemand of NEXT Level Business Coaching. His topic will be “What is a Business Coach and How Do They Coach?”
Lalemand said a business coach is a generalist whose job it is to work with an owner on the entire business rather than specific skills focusing on a particular problem. A business coach has simple tools designed to help the owner assess where the business stands, to create a detailed vision of where the business is going and to create a step-by-step plan to achieve the owner’s dream.
Lalemand is a professional business coach. He owned White Crane School of Karate from 1972 to 1985, the NAPPI Inc. from 1972 through 2001, including the NAPPI franchise from 1997 to the present, as well as Kurk Lalemand and Associates Inc. from 1995 to the present. He and his family reside in Minot.
The club meets every Thursday at the Ramada Inn. Buffet luncheons are $8 a person. Anyone wishing to hear the speaker or to learn more about Rotary is welcome. Access the club’s Web site at www.lewistonauburnrotary.org for more information.
