LEWISTON – The annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids’ Sake fundraiser for Androscoggin County will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, at Spare-Time Recreation. This is the largest fundraiser of the year and it supports the Child Health Center’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Programs throughout Androscoggin County.
Big Brothers Big Sisters encourages anyone interested in helping to make a difference in the life of a child to organize, join or sponsor a bowling team. To form a team, gather four people who would like to bowl and raise advanced contributions from family, friends, co-workers and employers.
The proceeds will help support the more than 300 matches in the Big Brother Big Sister mentoring programs.
The event will feature prizes and awards available to bowling team participants, including a grand prize drawing. For every $100 a bowler raises, they will have the opportunity to enter the grand prize drawing and become eligible to win a 42-inch flat screen TV.
