Greene, Leeds

GREENE – Kindergarten screening for Greene Central School will be held on Monday, April 30, and Tuesday, May 1. If a child turns 5 on or before Oct. 15, parents should contact the school at 946-5681 if they have note already preregistered.

Leeds Central School registration will be held on Wednesday, May 2. Call the school at 524-5151 to set up a time.

The following documents are required at the time of registration: child’s official birth certificate, immunization records and a copy of divorce decree (if applicable).

Monmouth

MONMOUTH – Registration and screening for children entering kindergarten this fall will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 9 and 10, at the Henry L. Cottrell School.

Children must be age 5 on or before Oct. 15. A copy of the child’s original birth certificate, Social Security card and health record, including immunization dates, will be needed.

The child will be checked for height, weight, vision and hearing as well as a brief screening with a Cottrell staff member. Parents should bring only the child who will be registering. Call the school, at 933-4426 for an appointment.

Winthrop

WINTHROP – Registrations and screening will take place for 4K and kindergarten at Winthrop Grade School in April.

Kindergarten screening will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 23 and 24; 4K from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 25 and 26.

A child must be age 5 on or before Oct. 15 to register for kindergarten. To register for the 4K program, a child must be age 4 on of before Oct. 15.

Parents should bring the child, his or her original birth certificate, immunization record and a recent picture.
