AUBURN – The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Hasty Community Center, Pettengill Park. Members are reminded to take their cups and utensils for the boiled dinner to be served at noon. Bingo will be played in the afternoon.

The group met March 7 with 56 members attending. Pat Donohue and Irene Fraser were attendance prize winners; pot of gold, Nancy Roy, Anna Gavel and Gerald Timberlake. Members having birthdays in March were introduced and the “Birthday Song” was sung. At the close of the meeting and following a bag lunch, members played bingo.

The club meets twice a month, on the first and third Wednesdays, at Hasty Community Center, Pettengill Park, and nonresidents are welcome.

A brunch is held on the fourth Thursday of each month. Those attending are asked to bring a casserole, salad or dessert to be shared. Card games and bingo are played after lunch. Various bus trips are offered throughout the year.

Membership is for persons age 60 and over regardless of residence. The group is sponsored by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department, which also assists and prepares a meal on the third Wednesday of each month.
