TOPSHAM – Linda Grotton, president of the Downeast Maine Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, has announced that Jeffrey M. Lemmo of Topsham is the 2007 recipient of the Richard A. Roy Scholarship.

Lemmo is working toward an MBA degree from Southern New Hampshire University and is a senior information technology auditor at Hannaford Brothers in Scarborough.

The scholarship program was created in 1994 to commemorate Richard Roy’s outstanding service to the internal auditing profession; education of internal auditing students; and the Institute of Internal Auditors, a worldwide organization with more than 130,000 members.
