AUBURN – Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre will stage “A Few Good Men,” under the direction of John Blanchette, June 1-10. In this Broadway hit, written by Aaron Sorkin (of “West Wing” fame), two young Marines stand trial for their complicity in the death of a fellow Marine at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Their Navy lawyer, an untried young man more interested in softball games than court cases, uncovers some chilling secrets about life at “Gitmo.” He then grapples with the thought-provoking question: What are the proper limits of authority?

The play spawned a successful movie by the same title, starring Tom Cruise, Demi Moore and Jack Nicholson.

The play contains strong language.
