Doug Flutie was voted into the College Football Hall of Fame yesterday, joined by Ahmad Rashad and Anthony Thompson. On Tuesday, he became the first non-Canadian elected to Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame. On Monday, he was carded while trying to buy a six-pack at Stop & Shop.

David Ortiz told the Boston Herald that he’s not 100 percent certain he’s never taken steroids, saying that when he was a young player in the Dominican Republic, he used to drink protein drinks and wasn’t sure what was in them.
