Sunday concert

ANDOVER – Calvary Bible Church, South Main Street, is holding Friends Sunday on May 20, with a concert during the service at 10:45 a.m. Krista Stickler of North Carolina will share a message of peace and hope through song. It is free.

Church supper

MEXICO – Mexico UCC (Green Church) will hold a public supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12. The menu will include turkey with all the fixings and homemade pies. Cost is adults $7, children under 12 $3.

Horseshoe club

RUMFORD – The Rumford/Mexico Horseshoe Club will start at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, for the 18th year. Anyone interested must be 18 or older. For more information, call Mark at 369-9180.

Quilters to meet

RUMFORD – Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street.

Grange dinner

RUMFORD – Rumford Grange 115, Rumford Center, will hold a smothered beef and fixings dinner from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 20. There will be homemade pies for dessert.

Takeouts will be available. The cost for adults is $7; children 12 and under, $3.50.
