Monday Club

FARMINGTON – The Monday Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 4, at the Holman House. There will be an auction and annual meeting.

Silent auction

FARMINGTON – There will be a silent auction to benefit the community playground from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Granary banquet room.

A $20 ticket will include hor d’oeuvres and desserts, live music, wine tasting, door prizes, community networking and chances to silently bid on items from local businesses and artisans while supporting a new community playground at Hippach Field.

Summer term

FARMINGTON – The Gold Leaf Institute Senior College at the University of Maine at Farmington will introduce its summer term at an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at the Student Center, 111 South St. Anyone age 50 and over is welcome.
