LEWISTON – Madeleine J. Levesque has been promoted to vice president in the loan operations department at TD Banknorth Inc. in Lewiston. She will continue to oversee daily operational activities in the loan research, GL research, dealer research and leasing departments .

Levesque joined TD Banknorth in 1987 and has 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining the bank, she served in a retail management position with Bates Fabrics in Lewiston.

A Freeport resident, Levesque volunteers in the United Way Day of Caring in Lewiston, and participates each year in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk in Atlantic City, N.J. She is enrolled in a management and business degree program at St. Joseph’s College in Windham, with an expected 2008 graduation. Levesque is a 1974 graduate of Lewiston High School.
