WALES – Sabattus and Turner split a doubleheader during the weekend in the Apple Valley Babe Ruth League.

Tim Levesque drilled 3 hits, including 2 doubles, and scored 4 runs, to lead Sabattus to a 15-3 victory in game 1 called after 5 innings. Cody Plourde added 3 safeties. The Sabattus pitching combination of Levesque, Brett Turcotte and Adam Soucy held Turner to 2 hits.

Turner got even in game 2, 16-9, striking for 11 runs in the 6th inning. The big blow was a bases-loaded triple by Doug Nash. Kolby Youland and Jake Ouellette contributed 2 hits each, with Ouellette scoring 3 times. Youland hurled 6 innings for the win. Levesque was a repeat hitter for Sabattus.
