Luminaries light up the track and hill behind Edward Little High School in Auburn on Friday night during the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Androscoggin County. The yearly event is held to remember those lost to cancer and honor those who have survived. Relay For Life is an overnight event. Teams of eight to 15 members gather with tents and sleeping bags to join more than 4,500 communities nationwide that are hosting relays. See sunjournal.com for more photos of the event.
