AUBURN – Two holes-in-one were registered recently at Martindale Country Club.

Saturday, Cliff Whitney of Lewiston collected his first career ace. His 7-wood shot on the #9, 180-yard hole, found the cup. Playing partners were Dan Sansoucy, Ed Cormier and Peter Sassano.

Jerry Haynes of Auburn had a big day June 26. He aced the #9 hole, 232-yards, using a 4-iron. He then followed with an eagle 2 on #10 by knocking in a pitching wedge from 125-yards out. Witnessing the feats were John Haynes, Gary Curtis an Dick Bornstein.
