PORTLAND – Portland Boxing Club Welterweight Lisa Kuronya won her second straight National Golden Gloves Championship Saturday night with a convincing unaimous decision over old rival Nicole Woods of Stone Mountain, Ga. The bouts were held in Hollywood, Fla. Kuronya (ranked #1) has now won four national championships.

Liz Leddy, another club member, lost by unanimous decision in the championship finals to Carrie Berry of Fort Carson, Co. Berry is rated No. 1 in the country and is a three-time national champ.
