TURNER – Coach Jim Hersom announces that Tripp Middle School Grades 7 and 8 football equipment will be available Monday, August 14 at the school from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Practice begins Monday, August 21, also from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All players must have proof of a recent physical before they will be allowed to practice.

Independent pocket billiards league to meet

AUBURN – There will be a pre-season meeting for the Independent Pocket Billiards Pool League at 6 p.m. Monday, August 20 at New Auburn Social Club. The meeting is for all team captains and anyone else interested in fielding a team in the league. All players must pay a $7 sanction fee. Central Maine Dart League gearing up

AUBURN – The Central Maine Dart League will host its preseason meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, August 27 at New Auburn Social Club.
